Finance for Mature Students - change of circumstances

Since I applied for Maintenence Loan/Grant (as a full time 1st year mature student) my partner has been notified of redundancy and will be leaving employment at the end of December. He is a part time post grad student at the moment and will probably try to complete his course full time before looking for work, he is not currently eligible to apply for loan/grant. As our circumstances will change I assume I will be able to apply for some additional funding, how do I go about this?

Were you assessed off your partner's income?
If so ask for a change of circumstances re assessment.

Yes I was assessed based on my partners income.
I assume there's a form to fill in? I can't amend my original app. I guess I'll give the loan company a ring.
