Resitting GCSE's at A2?

Hello,

I sat my GCSE's 2 years ago and I want to resit my English Lang + Lit papers. I heard it's possible to sit GCSE's in January as it's only A-levels that have just summer exams now. Is this true and how can I do this? Am currently studying 2 A2's and an AS in my second year at college.

What did you get in your English Lang & Lit GCSEs?
I thought they got rid of January exams... but if you're applying to uni there is no point in retaking your GCSEs at all :redface:
If not then you can usually search around for external exam centres and take your exams there, but you may have to pay a fee... alternatively you can try phoning up secondary schools and ask if you could pay to sit your exam at their school :P
hi i am in a similar situation, i just want to ask do you contact the exam board for a center or should i contact the center directly, and also what if i want to resit my coursework for my gcse is it regarded the same as an exam or is there a different procedure
