Need help! Coursework due tomorrow ><

The question for our coursework is "‘To what extent is the separation of powers in the UK constitution linked to the protection of the rule of law’, Discuss".

I've only written 3 points and I have a writers block! ><

My main points are:
1) Separation of powers keeps each institute in check and therefore stop the abuse of discretionary power. This protects the rule of law (used Dicey's First principal).

2) Although there is separation of powers, the parliament sovereignty means that it has supreme power other the others and can make changes to the UK constitution due to it being uncodified.

3) UK is said to have a fusion of power where the executive and legislative are fused.

Are there any points? I need around 1-2 more points.

Thanks!
