Gym has a stupid rule where you can only take out a months membership on the 1st, so popped in to get membership.

Didn't have much time but did a little deadlifting to see how it felt.

First time ever doing sumo. Felt good and easy up until 180, which just didn't move. Going to try working on it more.

Regular DL felt surprisingly good, to say it's been a while.

I love them. Felt a little iffy today, as it's the first time I've done them in AGES, and the most I had ever lifted before today was 80kg for 3-5.

Favourite back exercise for sure. Only barbell row variant that doesn't give me crazy lower back pumps.

Awesome :smile: I've got up to 87.5kg for reps but I seem to have lost a disproportionate amount of strength off them from my break

Horridly heavy. To be expected I suppose as I haven't really pulled heavy in months. Hoping strength comes back quickly.

They're feeling pretty good overall. Set-up still feels weird and it's taking me time to get used to how slow off the floor they are, improving though.

They're starting to feel better again, hopefully be back to where I was soon enough.

Worked out a few times this week. Nothing much to blog, just some bro stuff. :biggrin:

First time training in 3 weeks, felt good to get back in the gym.

Squats were heavy and grindy, first time squatting in 2+ months though so I'm happy with 200.

Deadlifts, easy. 30 seconds between sets for dat cardio.
Why no training? Injured or busy with life?
