AS English Literature Carol Ann Duffy Feminine Gospels

hey so in english I'm supposed to be writing about how the female characters in many of the poems in Feminine Gospels aren't given names but we haven't done much for the poem The Virgin's Memo, and I'm not really sure what it's about?
I read somewhere that the voice of the poem is the virgin mary but I'm unsure as to how that relates to the cotent of the poem
If anyone's studied it in greater depth or has any ideas about interpretations of the poem that would be great!
thanks

Hi, I'm doing The Feminine Gospels too. We haven't studied The Virgin's Memo yet but I know History talks/ alludes about The Virgin Mary... Do you know how The Cord links to other poems in The Feminine Gospels other than The Light Gatherer? x
How did you get on with your AS exam in the end? x
