AS Level Physics Help

I am studying Edexcel A level Physics Unit 1 and 2.
Topics on Mechanics, Materials & Waves.
I got an A* in GCSE Physics, but I think I am struggling with the a level, since i don't think that the teachers teach us much, as every lesson is always experiments!!
I do have the Edexcel Physics for As textbook but I don't think it helps that much.. (not to keen on the format of the textbook)

I would like to know if anyone has a tips or revision materials that they could share, as I'm trying to go through the topics from scratch.
