Jump from GCSE to A level maths

Did anyone else find the jump from GCSE maths to A level maths harder than they thought?
I dropped maths at AS level because I lost interest in the subject and found it quite difficult. I knew it wasn't going to be easy but I didn't expect to find as hard as I did.
Not really, it's not too difficult. Pick up the principle, go over it a few times, and application shouldn't be too hard. For me, anyway.

I was quite well prepared because I took S1 in Year 11. I found the jump much smaller than I thought it was going to be, it definitely depends on the person though
The jump wasn't too big tbh, definitely better than Chemistry..

Yes.

I found the jump extremely hard.

You really just need to stick with it though... I'd only recommend to drop it around April or so, and you're still SERIOUSLY struggling. The jump can often give the illusion that you aren't academically capable of getting a good grade, when in reality you just need to work a bit harder.
