How to get the API Data

Hi there, basically for university I am creating a web application/app in theory that is targeted towards people with autism. I need to get api data for sweat sensors, as well as other sensors. Medical data in general. I have no idea where or how to grab the data. I have looked at similar sort of wristbands such as the 'Sweat-sensing bracelet' found here: http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn21795-sweatsensing-bracelet-could-detect-fatal-seizures.html#.Uotr5WR5z9h but I do not know what api they are using. My tutor basically told me I need to
- Explain the API and how I get what I get i.e. the data
- Describe what/where the information I'll be using, in that way, is coming from i.e. where is the medical information from etc

Also, Anyone also know how to get a script chart to insert the api data into an app/web application of your own?

says the API isn't available yet. might be wrong.
