How often do QMUL students go into central London?

I know it depends on the individual etc, but what would you say is the average?

I have been in contact with QMUL and I'm pretty much guaranteed a place, but I'm afraid it wont won't get me the true London experience.

However much you like, honestly - I used to go to Camden, the West End etc fairly frequently. It's easy enough: get the tube there and the night bus back (25 from New Oxford St takes you directly to campus).

That said...don't neglect Drapers either. It's not as good as it was back in the day, but it's still your SU, show it some love :p:

I had a great time at QMUL - definitely got the true London experience.

it all depends on your flatmates really, I used to go out to London a lot when I was a first year, but now that I'm a second year I just slug around at home with food. haha

It's like 12 minutes on the tube into central London, not far at all. What is the true London experience? Is East London not real London or something?
