Average UCAS tariff is 498 for UCL chem. There might be people with BCC-CCC, but they wont get in.

Those stats are quite contrasting though, because applicants that are predicted ABB, get an offer of ABB from UCL. But they can give people who are predicted AAA, an offer of AAA. They'll also take into account the school/college you went to, and the borough you currently reside in. Of course, the average UCL Chemistry undergraduate will have great grades. But certainly not all of them.

Plus, I'm talking about getting interviews for Chemistry at UCL here. People getting BCC-CCC can get interviews, as I did. Then it is up to the person to show the academic tutors/lecturers why they deserve an offer from UCL.
