Sports in Bath

Hey,

Does anybody know if there are sports teams you can join in general?

Specifically, is there any football team you can join so that you can combine training and football games while studying at Bath?

Hi there,

Just to add on to what has been said, at Bath there are so many sports teams you can join whilst at university, and it can be done in many ways.

As Damask- said, you can join the TeamBath football team and they compete against other universities in the BUCS league every week.

However, if you wanted to get involved in a more recreational atmosphere, this is also possible. At Bath we have something called the 3:Thirty Club which is our recreational sports programme, and within this there is the opportunity to play football socially.

You can also get involved with football in competing in hall sports, which is when teams from all the first year accommodation on campus compete. Or you could even get involved at a departmental level and compete against other teams from courses both in your faculty and from the rest of the university.
