I have actually just been rejected accommodation as I live to close so I may commute. Not exactly sure. Trying to convince a few friends of mine who are going to get a houseshare with me aha

That's too bad, do you live in the local area? I'm in London so I'll be applying for accommodation sometime this week. Moving away from home makes the experience of university better in my opinion haha

Getting to morning classes/lectures would be hell, you should definitely go for the shared houses. I've been to Cambridge once back in yr 10 and I really liked it
