Can I get a different Sim Card for my phone in America?
I'm doing a semester in California in January.
I was wondering whether I could get it unlocked and then buy an American sim card for it? So then I can use it to text/call any friends I make over there, but also iMessage, Whatsapp, Skype etc. my family and friends from home.
Would it be possible?

Of course, why not? It's much more practical than using your UK SIM abroad.
