Benicassim 2014

Hello
two friends and I have been to Leeds Festival and various day festivals throughout England for two years now. However, this year, as most of our friends are going on a holiday to Magaluf, we have decided to break away and go to Benicassim.

We need to do it as cheaply as possible but I'm having a lot of trouble trying to organise it!

I have quite a few questions!

1) On a scale of 1-kill yourself, how bad was camping?

2) Best campsite/place to camp? for comfort etc.

3) What is VillaCamp?! is it more comfortable? are you less likely to melt? I know nothing about this

-

4)TRAVEL! Anybody on here traveled from Leeds before?

5) COACHES! I cannot find any coaches to Valencia or Barcelona?! is this cheaper/worth paying less for?

6)MONEY! how much did it come to? we are all going to university in September 2014 and want to make this cost efficient but also fun. How much was it all together, and how much "spending money" did you need?

General advice! anybody wants any advice on Leeds Festival or anything like that, I am your woman.

Thanks for reading!

Went in 2013 and can safely say it was the best experience of my life.

Camping was AMAZING due to all of the friendly people you will meet, everyone talks to each other and socialises all day and night and was one of the best bits about 2013. The only downside to the camping is the heat, so when you are stumbling back from the music at 5/6 in the morning the sun will be coming up, so by 9 o'clock your tent has become a greenhouse and you will be woken up soaking with sweat. However the showers in the campsite are the best place to go in the morning as they are cold and cool you down nicely.
The only bad thing about camping is the lack of sleep but walking around the town in the day the streets are covered with people who have found a tiny bit of shade on a lilo sleeping. We stayed in the normal campsite and are going again this year hopefully so will be staying there again!
Travelling wise we flew from Manchester to Barcelona and got a bus from there to benicassim took us about 3 hours and was £50 return, I think the tickets for the busses come out closer to the time off a company called eufest.
Any more questions just ask

I am 80% sure i'm going this year, my first time! All i'm hoping is that Tickets do not sell out quickly.

From my experience from British Festivals: We never had any trouble getting our hands on the good stuff when we were underage...there's an abundance of people who will buy for you if you give them the money...do not fear.

Recently bought tickets for me and a group of friends and realised my name is printed on every ticket. Will this be an issue with my friends getting in? as the tickets are under my name

Just drop them an email explaining mate- they're pretty good at replying. We did the same thing with one of our tickets and they said to make sure we have a letter of consent from the person who's name is on the ticket. But since that's you then you won't need the letters, double check with them though.

I went last year and I was 17. They don't care, although you will get a different festival wristband (for minors) so you could cover that up if you wanted to at times.

What dates can you camp? The website says 14th-21st, but when i went to register the only option was 15th-22nd, can anyone help?
If you have bought tickets and they have a different name on them, do you have to give beni the persons passport number to get the bands?
Dont think so they just need the barcode to scan and thats it
Hey I'm heading out to benni on Monday, I went last year with a group and had the time of my life. Going solo this year if you guys are still going I could be your tour guide ha. I am also going from leeds.

I spent around 300 euros but my friends spent less, the camping was better then I thought it would be, you need to try and get in the over flow site its much better.
