What kind of 'person' do you have to be for situational judgement tests?

I've got one with herbert smith freehills. Any advice?

I don't think they're looking for any one type of person. My advice would be to check over HSF's graduate website and find a section on where it says 'what we look for in a trainee'. I'm sure they will list a set of general competencies. Have them in the back of your mind when you do the test. Also think about the role a trainee has at a firm - are you going to be a 'breadwinner' from the off, or simply a 'document-monkey'?

Ultimately you can only answer it as honestly as possible and what you perceive to be the best choice. I wouldn't worry about it, either. SJT tests are usually there just to weed out the bottom percentage of people that have no grasp of what would be entailed of a trainee at a large firm.

HSF looks for polite, responsible people who have an independent streak.
