David Cameron's porn ban will cripple UK porn industry, let's increase unemployment!

so no more babesstation?? no more porn = no more porn industry for britain and all actors become prostitutes and will therefore lead to more decay in britain society because very difficult to tax prostitution.

Okay, now what's the real reason you're against the porn ban?
1. David Cameron is going to ban porn? Are you sure?

2. Are you really concerned about the employees of this er... babesstation and the impact that any legislation of the porn industry will have on the macroeconomic situation in this country? Or are you just afraid you'll lose your favourite site to spank off to?

To test censorship reaction before they go ahead with censoring public knowledge of the tempura project: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tempora

so that they don't need to issue the easy-to-see DA-notices that force media to keep quiet about it.

Anything else I might've missed??

You are right in terms of an Economic viewpoint.
However, it's not just the effect on the economy that we must think about.
Morality and Crime are both linked with pornography.

In my opinion, pornography is surely a 'bad' thing to have in society (I'm not even talking about religion - many believe porn is closely linked with rape) but I don't think the government has the right to decide whether people should watch it or not.

However, I do hope the only reason you are upset is the economic problems caused by the ban and not sexual desires (lol, Joke)

Idk, they might go and work in Tesco or something. I mean, if I was an employer and a porn star applied for my branch, I know who'd be getting the job.
hehe everyone's to afraid to speak up against it

Can you say spank off to? Lol I don't think you can. You are not spanking anything.

I thought the Government wanted legislation for internet providers to prohibit it unless householders opt in and say they want it available. I didn't think they wanted to ban it?

give me hard facts proving that porn leads to an increase in crime, not some flaccid argument.

Maybe in Middle East where all women must wear niqabs to avoid being raped by their horny men you may see this correlation, because men there never see any other women except their wife, so they see the porn and they go crazy which causes crime, in western democratic society, we men are much more open and we are not like the slimedogs you speak of who rape everyone, actually is quite funny because me and all my friends have watched porn before 18 and I have not had a urge to rape since: maybe porn has therapeutic effects on rape.

Let me rephrase your reply, "Hitler is going to gas jews, are you sure?... Are you really concerned about the Gestapo for this overtime work, or are you just afraid you'll lose your life in Bachau?"

You are Corvus Corax, please, they have already outright banned streaming sites, you think that once the idea has taken, they will not outright ban porn and other THOUGHTCRIME?? How do i persuade my parents that opting in to Pornstar Punishment will be OK??

he's not banning porn. it's just going to be harder for little kids to get access to porn or people that still live with their parents and are embarrassed to have adult content enabled when they purchase an isp.

it will hardly affect the porn industry.

Did you really just try to draw parallels between porn and The Holocaust? :eek4: This is a surreal.

If you aren't old enough to pay for your own broadband, then you aren't old enough to look at porn.

Gooby pls... if I was innocently browsing the internet and I saw website that says: "Error - site blocked", I would immediately download tor and see what was banned, thus making me addicted to watching porn because of censorship

If I innocently browsered a webpage with a women getting spitroasted by 3-4 black guys, I would immediately close it and return to that webpage when i is 18.

so acully, ur argument is invalid.

The semantic parellel is the same, hitler started nazification of his country by censorship, our human rights are being violated, just not to the same degree

No, just because I live with my parents doesn't mean I am not old enough to look at porn, just because I don't explicitly tell me parents I **** when they go out shopping, doesn't mean I'm not old enough to look at porn, any more invalid arguments???

Although I can see you have aimed that 'Middle-east rape' to me (lol), I agree with what you are saying. So you do agree that Porn causes rape but you think that it only occurs in Middle-east. I did not say I believe it 'causes rape' I said 'many' do.
However, what it does for sure (I believe) some porn videos which do show rape (fake obviously) do in fact show different techniques for rapist to use on their victims no matter where the rapists live. Do you agree with this or not?

I didn't say it does. I said "many believe it does".
You can read 'The Porn Trap' which argues that it does and also causes sexual irresponsibility and a rise in divorce.

This has nothing to do with the government and everything to do with your relationship with your parents.

Why not ask them to take off any porn filters? Would they really object to you engaging in such wholesome adult activities?
Even better, why not find partner so that you can do it rather than watch it?
