Re-using old essays?!

So I'm in Year 14 I guess, I've already done both years at sixth form but went back to redo a year.

For one of my subjects, I've been taking my essays from last year and just rewording them, so I'm not actually doing much of the work.. :colondollar:

Has anyone else done this? I feel like it could be seen as cheating in a way, but it is my own work.. :s-smilie:

This might not be relevant but since you're repeating a year in the first place I imagine you're aiming to improve your grades, so any work you're given you should repeat and try to improve it from scratch, or you're just basically repeating the year exactly and potentially gaining nothing from it. I know it's only one piece of work but I imagine you want to do your best.

It wouldn't be considered as cheating but I think your teacher would discourage it, and if its a teacher that saw the original work they will probably also discourage it and say what I said in the 1st paragraph.
