Is media considered a 'weak' subject at A2?

Do universities look down on the subject?

It depends what you're applying for and where, really. Cambridge and LSE have public lists of non-preferred subjects, both of which include media.

That's because Maths.

If you're good at Maths, you're in.
It really just depends on what course you want to study at university and where you would like to study. The Russell group universities shouldn't have a problem with it if you study at least 2 "facilitating subjects" alongside Media.

Obvz

I was just saying they don't always mind what the 3rd subject is
Better to get a grade A in Media than a grade D in something else!

as others have said, it depends on what you're applying for and where. Alongside 2 more traditional subjects you will be ok for most courses at most unis.
