Why don't you give blood?

It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. I've signed up for appointments twice and had to cancel. The first time, I came down with tonsillitis two days before. The second, I had a really nasty cold/cough.

I would have done it now, since stocks always run low around this time of year, but I had an ear piercing recently, so I couldn't. I just read that you only have to wait 4 months after a piercing, so I can do it for the first time pretty soon :smile:
some people are anemic so I don't think they can give blood
