A question about when you go to try a new foundation at a store….

I recently went to Debenhams to try the Clinique Even Better Foundation. When the lady at the Clinique counter put the foundation on me it looked nice but quite heavy - I looked 'done up' if that makes sense?

So, I was just wondering, do you think generally, that when you try a new foundation, the ladies at the counter put a lot of foundation on you - i guess in order to show the max coverage the foundation has they probably have to….

What have you experiences been like?
Different women do it differently.

You're best to ask for a sample and see how you get on with it

Yep. as really it is their job. some genuinely want to help but be proactive ask for samples. Put it on in the shop go out look in natural light. Sometimes it looks heavy at start but does sink into your skin well after an hour I find also may just look that way from not using powder? Best bet is to try things take pictures go out for abit then have a look take a sample home. That way you get a real idea of what it looks like and what your getting. as Clinique is abit pricey.
