hahaha its true we are lovely! Although I know some really mean bitches -.-'
Went to Warsaw for a day once, wasn't overly amazed by it. All the people were warm and welcoming though.

I go to college in a town called Crewe, which has seen large numbers of Polish migrants settle over the past decade. Personally, I find it lovely being in such a diverse place although I often hear many people complain about how they go out shopping into town and just hear Polish.

there's this polish guy that I like but we have cultural differences so i'm not sure about the signs if he likes me back or not
I've been to Warsaw and Krakow and found the people to be friendly and intelligent.

A lot of people here have stereotypes, for example, the young Polish plumber coming here to work, 'hard working but perhaps not very educated' is a good description of how some people view Poles. I'm sure that like all stereotypes, it is mainly untrue.

Of course, we also have images of dismal post-Soviet architecture and poverty and of Lech Walesa and all that. We don't get a lot of news about Poland other than when bad things happen.

Polish car drivers here in London appear to be insane. But that's just my own stereotype.

Every Polish person I've met has seemed like a cool person. I've only really met Polish guys though, can't comment on the women as much. Banged a few when drunk.

I am just wondering what people think of this country. :h:

I had some Polish flatmates a few years back and I've visited Krakow x2, Warsaw, Gdansk/Sopot with them so I have an idea.

It's a beautiful country, pretty traditional and the people have a sense of decency that I think W.European countries have lost. Quite nice to see people take Christmas as a Christian tradition rather than just as a shopping holiday for example. Think Polish society is very divided between the countryside and big cities though, you can tell straight away based on dress etc but still nice people everywhere. You guys are ultra paranoid about Russia/Putin and willing to believe pretty much any conspiracy theory about them. You guys also have a bit of a chip on your shoulder on WW2 and somehow got it into your heads that Britain/France ****ed you over when they went to war over you? Not sure how history is taught in Poland but something has been left out for sure. You are also not very fond of Jews, to say the least.

Polish food is pretty bad tbh, and your beer is shockingly poor considering you are bordered by some of the best beer countries in the world in Germany/Czech Rep. Good vodka though and good sausages.

Polish girls are very pretty too, and mostly very classy too

yeah we still cant get over WW2 and the nazi and after communsit occupation.
But Polish food is bad? Come on, its way better than English one! And as to beer, I will in Belgium (Europe capital of beer) and I must say that the most popular Belgian beer- Maes is way ****ter than our Lech or Tyskie
