ofc it's not accurate, it says that on average people's mental ages are 5 years older than they are, which means their tuning of their system is wrong.

Hmm I think there's probably three main reasons that everybody's ages are older on here -

1. The test will give you results that you want (i.e. higher mental age) so that you can spread the word about it, as has happened here, and tell your friends how cool and mature you are.

2. People will subjectively pick answers they can tell will make them appear more mature.

3. People won't want to post results that give them a younger mental age than they really have.

assuming that most of these people are in the late teens/mid twenties bracket...
