Should I take this job Im nowhere near confident at or settle for lower paid?
Ive been offered a job which pays £26000 (newly qualified nurse) but Im not really confident/don't have the personality/assertiveness for it even though Im supposed to be trained to do it. It is working with offenders on a psychiatric unit and Im not a quick thinker at all and easily make mistakes. I enjoy working for a 0 hour contract agency as a nurse assistant which only pays 12000 a year (thats if I get full time shifts!) but all the responsibility as a qualified scares me realistically I dont think I could do it. Even with medication I am not confident. Was thinking of doing something in psychology or maybe teaching assistant in primary schools.
Obviously the money is much more so will I be mad not to take the job and give it a try?
