AQA GCSE ENGLISH LITERATURE - Summer 2014 *OFFICIAL THREAD*

No doubt that this is one of the hardest exams to revise for however with the right notes, you can prepare yourself for any essay topic or unseen poem they may throw at you. This thread is to allow any GCSE candidates to share their views on their source material or ask for any help on assigned essays.

I'm doing TKAMB, An Inspector Calls and the 'Conflict' section of the anthology by the way

Can you predict which poems come up? If so, anyone know what may come up in the conflict cluster?

I might be able to help. What aspect of poetry do you find hard? It's my favourite part of English Literature!

And why do you make such scary threads? :frown:

I'm not doing any of them, aha. I'm studying the Sunlight on the Grass anthology, Of Mice and Men, for the Exploring Contemporary Texts exam, and Macbeth and Animal Farm for the Unit 4 Literary Heritage exam.

Shakespeare's probably the more difficult one, so I guess not many people want to teach it  And check Skype

just comparing 2 poems and I always find it difficult to analyse well as well - if you've got any notes or anything it would be a massive help!
