John Blundell Studentships - Adam Smith Institute, London
Applicants should have made a tangible contribution to (or can demonstrate a clear interest in the advancement of) personal and economic freedom; and be currently applying for, or undertaking, postgraduate courses or research work in the humanities and social sciences (particularly economics, history, philosophy and political science) at a recognised UK university (current postgraduate students will be considered as well as students who have not yet begun their studies). Also if anyone is interested in zoology/conservation a lot of PhDs/work experience opportunities get posted out through the ZSL Science twitter account and it's affiliated scientists at @ZSLScience. Keep an eye out for their tweets listing the scientists over there and give them a follow as well.

These are pretty niche (and only cover part time fees) but they aren't being advertised very widely either and funding for creative PhDs is worth shining a light on:smile: [also there's no requirement for an MA in the person spec]

MRC Integrated Midlands Partnership for Biomedical Training (IMPACT)

The Integrative Midlands Partnership for Biomedical Training (IMPACT) is a Medical Research Council-funded doctoral training partnership between the universities of Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham, and the Research Complex at Harwell.
