Finally someone who agrees with me, i can't stand her voice.

She has absolutely no talent whatsoever. Seems like anyone can become a singer these days.

Apparently so, despite it being #1 for a month and the best selling song of 2013.

I wonder why so many people hate it, I liked it tbh. Meh, everyone has different tastes.

Still, it is not as bad as Burn, or anything by Ellie Goulding for that matter.

Everyone who bought it absolutely have no taste at all, they're probably old people anyway.
Roar - Katy Perry

I just can't stand this song!!

Blurred Lines - I first heard it in May, I can't believe it lasted the whole year!
I hated We Can't Stop by Miley, but I have a soft spot for Wrecking Ball.
Burn is another dreadful song, it's just so boring! I don't understand the love for it.
Did Justin Bieber release anything this year? Cause if he did, it's definitely that.

Chinese Food is the worst I've heard.

I don't think I've heard any of the previously mentioned songs all the way through.

That fox one... Eurgh. Awful.

Are you for real?? how else would you know that fish go blub, and seals go ow ow ow.

May i just remind everyone of this:

It spawned a trend that hopefully will never EVER resurect
(edited 10 years ago)
There was so much good music released this year. None of it (bar CHVRCHES and to a lesser extent, Bastille) made the charts, unfortunately.

I feel like I'm the only person who thought the Arctic Monkeys album was a bit too wishy washy.

Blurred Lines is the most repetitive and the most dull song I've ever heard in my entire life!

It was a catchy song that got overplayed, that along with the rapey-ness could understandably make it unpopular.

I completely agree with you on Ellie Goulding;

"We held our breath to see our names are written on the wreck of '86" - Ellie Goulding 2013

I do not understand the whole "rapey-ness" fuss about the song, it all seemed consensual to me.

And yeah, those Goulding lyrics make absolutely no sense to me.
