Oh I see why, cos I'm 13 years younger than you, well I felt it was relevant to join cos I'm a student...

Just for a bit of fun, what was the UK number one single when you were born?

If you don't know, you can find out on this site- http://www.everyhit.com/dates/

Mine was "Some Might Say" by Oasis, one of my favourite bands!

On 17th Feb 1989 ...

The Number 1 single was:
Marc Almond with Gene Pitney - "Something's Gotten Hold Of My Heart"

interesting duet :s-smilie:
July 13th 1994, 'Love is All Around' by Wet Wet Wet

I feel sorry for kids these days, being born with rubbish music in the charts. If One Direction is top of the charts on the 28th April this year I'll have no qualms about lying to my own child and telling them that a good band was top of the charts instead.

You;ve given me confidence to post mine- She by Charles Aznavour. Probably better than most of the other number ones that year, and covered brilliantly by Elvis Costello in the 90s

Viva Forever- Spice girls
On 3rd Sep 1995 ...*
The Number 1 single was:Michael Jackson*-*"You Are Not Alone"*
27th May 1992 - The number 1 single was K.W.S. - "Please Don't Go/Game Boy" which I've never actually heard of and the number 1 album was Michael Ball - Michael Ball apparently

Edit: I do know the song and I liked the cover that Basshunter did a few years back!
