Getting A* in Physics

If you don't get an A* you'll be working in McDonald's. You better get 100%

My teacher says I need to achieve 85% across my A2 units to get an A*. I suspect she's wrong about this.

I'm sure I need to achieve 90% across my A2 units, but if so does this mean Unit 4+5 and the practical coursework or just the two written papers?

Thanks in advance.

90% across the entire A2 my dear  so exams and coursework averaged out.

I was told by my teacher you need to average 90% across all A2 units including the coursework, but he's not completely reliable with information and it may be dependent on your exam board. Which board are you on?

Just confirming, it is 90% across coursework and the two exams.

For other six-unit Edexcel A levels you must:

score at least 480 UMS marks for your overall A level grade

score at least 270 UMS marks at A2.
