Graduate working in new york/la/miami

Hi,

I have graduated from university in Glasgow, Scotland and am looking to take some time out and work in New york/LA/miami. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any programmes out there which help you secure a job/internship etc as I am finding it very hard to research.
