how to drink a horrible tasting liquid?
I'm due to have a colonoscopy tomorrow but the laxative liquid they give you tastes horrible! I have to drink 2 litres of it today but I'm unable to drink even a sip without gagging, any suggestions to help with the taste?
Also, I'm not allowed to eat anything, so please don't suggest to eat something before/after!

if you block off on of your senses that should help. Pinch your nose so you cant smell anything and then just go for it! Good luck!
Yeah pinch your noses or hold your breath, you won't taste it..
You can drink other transparent liquids. How about trying drinking something else before and then again straight after to get rid of the taste?
I read that drinking through a straw can help.
When I had to do it I downed it as quickly as possible then had another drink.
