Re: Tea Society
I spent today working in a Christian Salveson warehouse.
Not just any old warehouse; the one where they keep all the frozen stuff.
It was -20 degrees.
Hence I had the excuse (not that I need one...) to have LOTS of cups of tea.
The first one I had after the first two hours in there was bliss... I just had to try and stop all the water from the melted ice in my hair, eyelashes and eyebrows from going in it.
Oooh! EXTEAREME tea drinking! What have you done that has necessitated a nice warm cup of tea? -

I would say DofE. 50km, rain, and no tea for 3 days! And it's just not the same making it on a trangia, which takes ages to boil, and then you're left with the problem of no milk
Deary me.

Re: Tea Society
Which is why if I go camping with anyone, we share kit and take a big petrol stove- a LOT heavier, but worth it for the tea!

I'm a Scout leader, and I'm taking about 30 scouts off to some godforsaken place or other. The only way I will be able to cope with the lack of sleep and the stress is with tea! Hence I'm taking my Special Mug so I cna have lots. -
