Re: The Beatles SocietyI love 'Dont let me down' from the 'Let It Be... Naked' album.(Original post by Fingersmith)
I used to love all the big Phil Spector arrangements but now I prefer 'Let It Be ...Naked' All the orchestration is stripped back to show the songs as they were recorded. In many ways the songs become stronger. 'The Long And Winding Road' is so powerful this way
Has anyone noticed that some of the songs from 'Let It Be.. Naked' album, and the 2009 master version of 'Let It Be' album, are taken from the rooftop concert? Only recently noticed it, especially after recently watching all the rooftop concert again... -
Re: The Beatles SocietyI actually really enjoy both these songs. On a different level to the others, but I can still appreciate them. I've done the same with Rev 9, biiiig mistake.(Original post by Paul McCartney)
The only Beatles songs I actually don't like are Revolution 9 and Wild Honey Pie. I once made the mistake of listening to Revolution 9 backwards before bed.
It wasn't a good night
Hello, by the way! I'm Amy and a huge fan. -
Re: The Beatles Society>Claims to be big beatles fan(Original post by NorwegianWood)
Hi
The Beatles are my favourite band, as you can probably tell from my username. I have the 'With The Beatles' and 'Abbey Road' albums, but I am considering buying more of their albums.
>Has two albums

Re: The Beatles SocietyRubber Soul is such an awesome album(Original post by nowhere-girl)
Norwegian Wood is an awesome song
Well, every Beatles song is :3 My favourite song by them has to be A Day in the Life, that song is other-worldly, so perfect

Re: The Beatles SocietyBut it helps.(Original post by Jakelol)
you don't have to have all their albums to be a big fan
anyway Across the Universe is my favourite Beatles song
I can't choose a favourite song. It changes all the time.
I do really like Girl, though most of my other favourites are McCartney/mostly McCartney compositions, usually the ones no-one else would ever regard as favourite tracks
.
George is my favourite of the four, although he's followed closely by Paul. :3
