Scots are getting offended at what you're saying because we're known for a lot more than Nessie; Nessie is not a big part of our culture, and it's annoying that Americans harp on about it all the time. You're not really qualified to answer a question about Scottish stereotypes when you're perpetuating such a limited vision of Scotland yourself.
