I'm not doing as well as I'd like to be doing in my OCR AS Latin course in the unseen translation section.
Any advice on how to score better/improve?

Yes: learn everything. To be blunt, all the grammar and all the vocabulary is specified for AS. They cannot ask you anything outside the word list or the specification vocabulary without glossing it - so it follows that if you know the AS vocab list by heart, you'll be fine.
