Got in a fight with a woman on the lat pulldown. I was doing a set and she's standing there next to the machine arms crossed, i.e. body language says "I want to work in" but was unwilling to ask. My standard treatment for these people is to ignore them. I leave my towel on it to go pee (gone less than 60 seconds) and when I come back, she'd moved my stuff, doing her set whilst talking to a mate i.e. not even working hard. I called her out and asked to work in, and she got all pissy saying "you can't bagsy a machine". Actually, towel on machine is universal symbol for "I'll be gone very shortly and back quickly, wait patiently for my return then ask to work in or how many sets I have left".
