Medicine at university of malta

Hi
I am a UK medical student have studied medicine for 2 years and want to join year 3 in Malta school of Medicine, they sent me an email with loads of entry requirements so according to my understanding;
they take students in year 1 and year 3 of 5 year course
for year 1 applicants the entry requirements are an entrance exam - written and oral involving biology and chemistry
for year 3 applicants you need 120/180 European credits and need to pass 5 exams (biomedicine, 2 neurology exams, pathology and cardiology exam), I was wondering if anyone has taken this route before i.e. applied for year 3 of the course and taken the 5 exams mentioned above???
if any current students can give any information it will be much appreciated
