Bit disapointed that we cant beat these teams by 3 or 4 goals to nil.. But at 1-0 espeically playing away in Bosnia.. it is a job done. Martins started to look good in the last 15 minutes..

And Siberski showed why Roeder bought him... Good header of the ball to collect from Duff and Milner/Solano crosses.

Right, that's more like it! 0-2 away to West Ham!

How bad is Given down? I can't watch MotD while I'm at uni to see. Hope he's good.

Good win today in what is now our annual away win at West Ham. 2 wins and 2 losses so far isn't too bad, although what's disappointing so far is the manner in which we lost those 2:mad:

Anyhow, good to see Duff and Martins get off the mark and lets hope Given makes a speedy recovery, even though Harper is a very adequate substitute.

Shay has had abdominal surgery!!!!!AHHHHHHHHHHH, dont think hell be able to play wed against the pool. But itll give Harper a go to show his worth like that manu keeper yesterday, he was quite good actually. Good result now lets see if we can get 4 points from liverpool and everton!

Without shay given, i can sense the all mighty beating we have been threatening to give someone coming.

I think I'll agree with you, Liverpool win, but not 3-0, I think 2-1. Harpre won't be able to make up for our defence, Given only just does it, but he's still good. Iron Man Given just don't let him play.

Although Given has been ruled out for 6 to 10 weeks... Most Newcastle Supporters Are Confident Stevie Harper can come in and do just as good of job. i hope other teams and supporters will be suprised to see Stevie do a great job.. and i hope he does...

Like a couple of years ago when Given was out for 3 weeks.. Harper actually kept his place when Given returned to full fitness.. just a couple of weeks after that.. Harper got injured. lol

I remember that. I've always said that Harper is good, but if he was better then Given, then he'd be in the team. Given has been just keeping us going, and our defence won't get better over night because Given's out. Harper is a step down from Given, and I think it may be a problem.

And will you go about adding me to the Soc already? I applied ages ago!

I think Harper can prove himself...he's been waiting ages for this oppertunity so i hope he grabs it with both hands! It'll be good if he shows Roeder some competition for Shay's place. I recon we can manage a draw against liverpool, lets hope gerard and Kuijt both play as bad as they did against chavski. I hope Kuijt dusnt get off the mark against us...that wud be frustratingly ironic.

Is Bramble injured? Heard he got taken off midweek because of an injury?

Be gutted if he was injured. I remember him coming on last year to almost a standing ovation! Funniest thing I've seen at the footy for ages
