GCSE Maths Equable Shapes coursework - HELP!

Hello, I seriously need help to the equable shapes coursework. My teacher says all we have to do is squares, rectangles and right angled triangles. I sort of understand that you have to see if the area and perimeter equal the same and that makes it equable. But what about all this stuff about general formulae? I have not got a clue on how to set it out either. How many am I supposed to do? Do I need a hypothesis? Am I supposed to do a conclusion? Seriously I really need somones help because this must be in after the Easter!
