Which degree would be relevant?

Hi, I tried posting this thread but it doesn't appear on the list, so apologies if this becomes a double post. I've been flirting with a recent real interest in chemistry, and welfare for the vulnerable in society has and always will be a pursuit of mine whatever I go to university to do. So relevant to the forum, which degree would be relevant to researching drugs for tackling drug addiction? Thanks in advance for any help.

pharmaceutical chemistry

Just straight chemistry, because you can then specialise in later years :smile:

you also get an understanding of everything else, which helps a great deal, because everything is interlinked :smile:
