importance of a masters
So I'm intending on studying Biochemistry in September and I am currently planning on taking the pHD into research route. I was just wondering what the importance of getting a masters degree would be? I am trying to decide between a 3 year degree at my favourite university, or a 4 year integrated masters at a nice, but not amazing (to me) university. So will the masters make much of a difference when apply for/completing a pHD?
