Birkbeck vs Queen Mary for Languages

Hello! I'm having trouble deciding which university is best out of Birkbeck for French and Spanish, or Queen Mary for French and Russian. However there are pros and cons to both and I can't make my mind up.
Birkbeck:
+Evening classes +Good area
+Done in 3 years +6th for Iberian Languages
- Would rather study Russian
Queen Mary:
+Russell Group uni +Preferred course
- Bad area - 5 years inc. year abroad and preliminary year - Didn't particularly like it when I visited

Some advice from people at these universities and people studying Languages would be much appreciated, thank you.

Birkbeck is quite well known for languages. I can't say the same for QM. Plus Birkbeck is closer to the UK's top language university: SOAS. Go for Birkbeck.
