Eastern European Gap Year
So I speak French at an a-level standard and that's it, but I really want to learn an eastern European language. Thinking of working from August-December and going somewhere from January to September (though I'm quite flexible). Just wondering if anyone's done something similar to this, and whether it is possible to become any good at a language in that space of time? Also any advice on the best place/language? Thinking of Czech or Russian at the moment...
