Working in France after uni, but open to other countries. Please help!

I am finishing uni this summer, and am thinking about working in another country, either over summer or after summer for 6 months- a year. I am pretty much open to anything, but have found work such as reception, hotel work, house renovation work, cooking, painting etc, which appeals to me. I am basically wanting to hear people's past experiences, companies they have used etc, as I am not sure where to start. I am thinking of France, as I love the country and want to improve my French, but open to other countries too! So far I have looked on workaway.info, which has some great advertisements but you have to pay a sign up fee. Any help would be appreciated!

This is the company I worked in a hotel in France with. They only offer 10 week placements, but they're 100% free in terms of flights, accommodation and local transport.

You could try heading out with them, and then job hunting while there.
