Internet access in accommodation?

Do all rooms have internet points for my laptop? Do any halls have hubs for wireless? Just wondering what I can expect...I fear that without day and night access to Google my life may take a downward turn...

most likely- yes. If you're in UCL accommodation, then you'll have to pay something like 70 pounds for a wired ethernet connection, though. If you're in intercollegiate, then you have a wired ethernet connection as part of your rent.

I've since found out I'm in Astor - the booklet says I need to buy a voucher for the net connection.
