That's kind of my point...
As a wolf therianthrope, I find a genuine MATERNAL PULL to pups rather than human babies but do not just think of them as 'cute' in the sense that most people do.

Supposedly the feautures in domestic animals that trigger affinity in human beings are those that are infantile, retained throughout the maturity of the animal (floppy ears, fuzzy fur etc) Puppy or kitten hood is often just a huge exaggeration of these features compared to the young of a lot of wild animals (who are still very sweet in their own way) The thing that is meant to be universal across species is tubbiness (aptly named 'puppy fat'), proportionately big eyes, big heads etc

I still don't find myself drawn to babies, but then again I am a little biased against humans on the whole XD
babies are the ugliest young animals
