Yes but if u add up all yr outcomes it comes to more than 1 :s-smilie:


FYI I have a "not so great" teacher for Stats and from their teaching I can only apply it to the data this way, the only way I can get 0.36 is by doing (0.5 x 0.6 x 0.4) x 3... What's the other way to do it?

You need P(BT) + P(TT)

There is no 0.5 involved

P(BT) + P(TT) = (0.6 x 0.4) + (0.4 x 0.4) = 0.4 that is not 0.36 so you are wrong
