Re: Broadgate Park-ers!ive applied for one of them studio rooms but im unsure now coz i dont want 2 b anti-social maybe i shud at least share a kitchen will they let me change?(Original post by The Regend)
Hi mate. Ok, I'm gonna be completely honest with you - I think the studio rooms are probably most suited to postgrads or final years that will need to and want to be in working hard towards their degrees. As a first year undergrad, it's almost definately not worth heading for - you'll miss out on so much, even if it's just socialising with your flat where you make your first friends. I guess people that do venture out will be a part of the Broadgate community but why pay the extra cost? A flat kitchen is just as good - probably better (as you don't have to put up with annoying cooking smells in your sleep) and more sociable.
Sorry, I have been pretty biased here, but a lot of that is worth taking in to consideration. -

Re: Broadgate Park-ers!Hey, yeah I was a bit confused too, but I accepted the offer and I'm pretty sure you have at least until september (before you arrive) to pay your deposit. But i'm not 100% sure.(Original post by s.jayne123)
I'm a bit confused can i accept my accommodation offer now and pay the £250 deposit at a later date ?
P.s I'm studying Archaeology btw
- ive firmed to do chemistry
Actually hold up, if you go on this link and scroll down, it does say that a deposit is needed for them to process your application. So I'm guessing that means you wont know if you've got a room until you've paid.
