What will pull ups do for boxing?

For strength training the only thing I do is pull ups, push ups, back extensions, and calf raises.

However, I'm concerned that the pull ups will slow down my boxing.
So after I do pull ups, I start shadow boxing with resistance bands.

What benefit will this have on my boxing?

Power isnt generater through the arms, it comes from the whole body 1391626044010.jpg

Id even make the point that your strength training is below minimal.

I don't need to increase my power at the moment. I just want to increase strength and have a good physique without losing my speed

I'd chuck in some core (incl. lower back) work in there as well.

Power = strength and speed.

Everybody can improve their power.

Pull ups are good for boxing. It does the arms and back, all of which are used in punching. I do, I advise you do too. (I do MMA)
