Practically all of the asian guys at my school want to do medicine, but to be fair so does everybody else. We have talks and trips related to medicine or biology practically every week. I think quite a lot of them would rather do something else, but have to because of their families. I'm asian too, but my family are happy for me to do whatever I want, and we're not in the 'asian community' or saddled with annoying aunties and uncles, so there's no outside pressure.
