Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

Thai anybody??

Hi guys,

So I got unconditional to study Chinese at uni of leeds but after speaking to tutors I've been suggested it to combine it with another language.

I was looking at combining it with Thai.

Anyone applying to study Thai? any opinions would be great

Go for it, you might struggle at first but it's a simple language (I would know, I'm half Thai and have been speaking it for a while) and it's very different to Chinese. You might mix up the two languages at first if you don't know much of Chinese but after a few weeks you'll be fine I'm sure.
If you love learning about other cultures, Thai is one of the most fun to learn about IMO and the people are really friendly which you'll find out when you go abroad :smile:
